Carved in Stone is the solo project of the artist Swawa, who worked in the past as a keyboardist and singer in various metal bands before she joined Taunusheim.Following successful releases in 2001, The Forgotten Belief and Hear the Voice in 2004, CARVED IN STONE is back in the fall of 2007 with the second longplayer titled Tales of Glory & Tragedy. The album was recorded again in cooperation with Schwarzdorn Production.Stylistically, singer Swawa has remained true to her mystic folk, and so Tales of Glory & Tragedy includes a new collection of unique ballads and tales embedded in the atmospheric sounds of acoustic instruments.Merciless fates, almost forgotten creatures and fallen heroes accompany the listener who follows them through another time and another world in which human knowledge seems to play no part. The appropriate layout for "Tales of Glory & Tragedy" is again by HvemSkulle, who was already responsible for the visual design of the two predecessors and also succeeds in this work again to create a perfect harmony between music and optics.

Pagan Folk from France.
Runahild Håleygir started Eliwagar in December 2006 during the winter solstice. At that time she lived in Lorraine and recorded several demos and 3 official CDs. In February 2010 she went to Norway, back to her roots and heritage. The north called them stronger and stronger the more time passed. She went to an organic mountain farm in the winter and met Bjørn, who became the guitarist for her project ...
This lifestyle in a mountain farm gave Eliwagar a great deal of meaning and existence. The ideology behind Eliwagar is back to nature and back to the roots of living in great harmony with Mother Earth and Father Sky. The lyrics of Eliwagar are about the love of the motherland, the family and the loved ones, and the ancient Nordic heritage that seemed almost forgotten. Contrary to those who call themselves Asatru (the belief in the Asen gods) is called Runahild Vanafolk (the people of the Vanir), since the Vanir are the oldest gods in Norway and the north. They have a real strong connection to the northern countries for them. The Vanir gods are not only the gods of fertility and rich harvests, nature, love, family and heritage, but also death and ancestry. They are the gods of a time when people lived in harmony with the motherland and with each other and each family had their own farm and freedom and were proud of their heritage and their ancestors. The energies of the Vanir and the society they represent are the strongest source of inspiration for Eliwagar's music. Runahild describes her music:

The Edda is one of the most famous poetry and the most important source of Norse mythology. Music inspired by the Edda describes the contemporary implementation of this huge collection of songs by POETA MAGICA. The ensemble, known throughout Europe for cross-border interpretations of Alter Musik, founded the combination of various styles of music to medieval-world-music. In this unique combination of musical inspiration and instrumental virtuosity, POETA MAGICA lets the gods, heroes and myths come to life in the mind of the CD EDDA Vol. The oldest ballads in Scandinavia, traditional folk melodies and original compositions sound as multifaceted as the Nordic landscape: traditional with Scandinavian instruments; classical with orchestra, modern with influences of jazz and new age. Recitations from the Edda in Old Icelandic and lyrics in Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish and English open up new perspectives on the divine world of the far north.
Musically, POETA MAGICA breaks new ground while remaining true to its particular style. The instrumental focus is the Nyckelharpa: So comes on this CD a complete Nyckelharpaorchester and for the first time the world's largest Nyckelharpa, developed by Holger spark large bass Nyckelharpa used, as well as a Nyckelharpa quarter-tone series. Well-known guest musicians from Scandinavia, such as Tone Hulbaekmo (Kalenda maya) from Norway, participated in this project.
POETA MAGICA sets new standards in world music with this CD.

With the brand new CD "EDDA Vol. II - spoken Edda", "Poeta Magica" is doing the successful balancing act between music CD and audiobook. The poems of the Edda are heard as stories; sometimes thought-provoking, sometimes exhilarating. They were presented and written by the renowned philologist Prof. Dr. med. Ulrich Mehler, who also participated in the Edda production of "Sequentia" in 1999. The work is rounded off by the recitation of the original text of the "Grimnismäßigl", spoken by Rainer Hildebrand. The lyrics are accompanied by sounds of real instruments and embedded between tunes, which are among the oldest known from Scandinavia. With virtuosity, clear sound images, influences from classical to jazz and original compositions, the CD "EDDA Vol. II - spoken Edda" has its own unmistakable style, revealing a new facet with each new listen.
